LEARN ABOUT ME

Hi all! I'm Stephanie Mattoon, a travel advisor with Key to the World Travel. I'm so excited to be able to help you with all of your travel needs!

My first trip to Disney happened when I was nine years old, and was a true family affair. I remember that my mom had cut out a Mickey head from construction paper and taped it on top of a jar that lived on the kitchen counter. Any time any one of us got a little spare change, we would place it in the jar. That money became our souvenir money. It was so meaningful to me as a child to have had a part in saving for our trip, and truly helped me learn the value of travel, financially and emotionally.

This initial Disney experience led me to complete two separate Disney College Programs, where I learned all about the Disney resorts from the experts. I made lifelong friends with whom I have completed frequent reunion trips.

My first experience abroad happened years later, just after I graduated high school. I was able to take a trip with my Aunt to England and France. From there, my love of travel just blossomed. Here are some of the highlights:

  • A month-long trip to Egypt

  • A road-trip with my best friend through England and Scotland

  • A girls' trip to Holland and Switzerland

  • A solo trip to Hawaii

  • A girls' trip to Japan (including Tokyo Disney resort!)

  • A solo trip through SouthEast Asia -- Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, and New Zealand
